ICANN Verification
New regulations introduced by Internet Corporation of Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN) starting on January 1st mean you will recieve a Whois validation email from your Registrar. Whois validation will only be needed for the Registrant contact information for generic TLDs (gTLDs) in the following cases:
- New registrations
- Registrant contact information changes on existing domains
